It all depends on traction right! If a network is able to give me the traction I need, I would use it. Even as widespread payment networks are (or so we are lead to believe), they are highly fragmented (emphasis supplied).
With over 1,900+ payment systems in the world, less than 3% are connected. So if InitiativeQ payment network props up, my question would be how practical is it? and if they are able to achieve (read: connect) the touch-points with people and entities that I interact with for payment! If they do, I’d use them!
But then again, I am a bit of an exception, I like to use all kinds of payment networks just to evaluate them and have my finger on the pulse so to speak.
